Tax season is just around the corner! Arizona Taxpayers can contribute up to $200.00 per single taxpayer or $400.00 per household filing jointly to the Arizona school or schools of their choice and receive a dollar-for-dollar reduction in their tax liability on their Arizona state tax return. GCOA can in turn use these contributions to fund outdoor field work, specials classes, and other critical programs. You can claim the tax credit when filing your Arizona State Tax Return. We are always looking for support with snacks, classroom supplies, and outdoor equipment. Helpful donations are healthy snacks that can be taken out into the field such as granola bars, apples, and mixed nuts. Ideas for classroom materials are expo markers, dry erase cleaner, metal rulers, colored paper, cardstock, glue, and high quality art supplies. Reach out to our teachers directly to see what they need! Additionally, hiking backpacks, sun hats, sunscreen, water bottles, and camping equipment are great ways to support our students in their outdoor experiences.
